Audra has been teaching at Greenwood Friends for nearly a decade now and is excited to start the year in new digs. She grew up in the Hazleton area, received her B.S. in Education with a minor in theatre arts from Bloomsburg University, and taught virtually every level from pre-K to eighth in positions in Hazleton and Harrisburg before coming to Greenwood. She is an ardent supporter of arts in education and has designed and implemented dramatic arts clubs and workshops for a variety of venues. In the summer Audra enjoys trading her director hat for that of an actor - you may have seen her as Irma the Bag Lady in the 2009 Alumni Players’ production of Laffing Room Only. In addition to theatre, Audra loves traveling, cooking, reading, and buying books for her newborn nephew, Logan. She lives in Bloomsburg with her husband Jeremy, a musician/composer. |
