Greenwood Friends School

The school year came to a festive end on June 8 with graduation ceremonies at Millville Meetinghouse and an all-school talent show in the Greenwood Friends School courtyard.

The graduates were seven eighth graders, who now move on to other schools for high school. The GFS Middle School runs from sixth grade to eighth. Other GFS classes range cover the years from Pre-primary through fifth grade.

End-of-year activities also featured a play put on by middle schoolers the evening of June 7 at BTE's Alvina Krause Theatre in Bloomsburg.

June 8 was the last day of school for all students except Pre-primaries, whose year ended earlier in the week. Teachers returned for two staff work days before beginning their own summer vacations. 

The graduates show off their diplomas.
