Art Teacher

Cindi has had a wide range of teaching experiences. She has taught in academic and recreational settings for both children and adults, and has taught college courses for adults. She was the first art teacher for our Middle School when it opened in the fall of 1997. Originally from California, Cindi now resides in Millville, where she and her husband, Vince Hron, maintain an art studio practice that includes drawing, painting, sculpture, installation, and public art projects. They share their home with sons Ethan and Izac. Ethan is a student in the Intermediate Team at GFS; Izac is a student in the Primary Team. Cindi’s formal education includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Otis Art Institute in Los Angeles and a Master of Fine Arts degree from California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, California. She exhibits her artwork nationally. Her artwork has been featured in Beginning Sculpture, a high school art text, and The Sculpture Reference, by Arthur Williams. Cindi is a recipient of a Pennsylvania Council of the Arts Fellowship. |
