Shirley has been part of the GFS staff since the earliest years.
Ken and Shirley have two sons: Brian, an advertising representative and Bradley, a Ford parts clerk. Brian and his wife, Sara, have two boys – Jason, a middle school student and Zachary, an active fifth grader. Sara graduated from Bloomsburg University with a master’s degree in elementary education. A substitute teacher at Bloomsburg Elementary School, she hopes to find a permanent teaching position in the area. Ken is semi-retired and Shirley likes coming home after work to find the grass cut or odd jobs underway. Shirley enjoys reading, reading and more reading; driving her 64½ Ford Mustang convertible; sunny days in Cape May…and there is always a baseball game or a karate match to attend. |
