Greenwood wrapped up its academic year with Graduation at the Millville Meetinghouse on Friday the 6th of June. The graduates invited Intermediate team teacher Audra DePrisco as their speaker. Three of them were part of Audra's very first class at Greenwood, in 2001. Audra shared highlights of the students' careers at Greenwood, seven lessons (to match the number of years she has taught at Greenwood),
and hopeful optimism for these students
as peacemakers and world-builders. It was the end of a week full of
wonderful and impressive events: 8th grade students presented their
final projects to their classmates, mentors, faculty, board members,
and families on Monday the 2nd of June, and Tuesday night saw a combined
event including readings from Young Authors, student musical recitals,
the premiere of the Fifth Grade Film, and a dramatic reading by our Middle School students.
