What does a full-time “techie” and part-time teacher with a passion for Friends Education and a child in the Intermediate Team do? In Sue’s case, she recently added working in Greenwood’s Development and Admissions Office. Susan began teaching library skills classes in 2000, but has been involved with Greenwood for 20 years. Susan and her husband Bruce have been school parents since 1988, when they enrolled the first of three sons in Greenwood’s preschool. That child, Nathan, has just completed a Bachelor’s degree; is a published author and roleplaying game designer; and currently pursuing a Master’s in Education. Middle son, Alex, has now completed high school, enjoys gaming, and often shares remarkable insights into his own autistic brain with his family. Youngest son Corwin is an Intermediate Team student. A member of the school’s Board of Trustees, Susan is also a member of Millville Meeting. She has a Master’s in Education and was an English major as an undergraduate. Susan enjoys computers, sci-fi, and tackling new careers. |
